What Are Toxins?

This is a neuromodulator that is injected into the muscles of the face to temporarily relax them. Think of this as your *wrinkle relaxer*. Works only on the muscles! Our goal is always expression without wrinkles! Unless you don’t want your face to move, we can do that too!

Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin, are the most commonly used toxins. They all work the same but are manufactured differently so choosing the most appropriate one for you should be discussed with your provider!

This is used in areas of expression like your forehead, between your brows, and around your eyes, and some other more uncommon areas like around the lips, underarms, and lower face.

It takes on average about 1 week to start working, full results seen at 2 weeks and lasts about 3-4 months.

After consistent use, every 3 months, for at least a year-ish, your dose of toxin may slowly decrease because your muscles stay continuously relaxed. THIS is the goal!
