The recovery process for Xeomin & Dysport can be slowed or even interrupted if you consume any alcohol or use blood-thinning prescriptions; therefore, it’s good to avoid both before your appointment. Also, make sure there are no breakouts in your facial area. You should advise the nurse administering your injections if you are allergic to any drug or have previously had an adverse reaction to one.

How are Xeomin, Dysport, and Botox different? All three are botulinum toxin type A products used to reduce facial lines, but there are key distinctions:

Xeomin & Dysport are neurotoxins that can be injected into facial muscles to relax them temporarily. Neurotoxins are mostly used to smooth out wrinkles and lines, but they can also be used to prevent signs of aging and slim the face.
Frequent muscular contractions, such as those caused by squinting and frowning, are among the root causes of lines and wrinkles on the face that neurotoxins aim to minimize. Neurotoxins will be injected into the muscles to halt muscle function effectively. Temporarily ceasing facial muscle movements will allow the skin to naturally rejuvenate itself, reducing or eliminating fine wrinkles.
