Botox Preparation

Before your Botox injections, you can prepare by refraining from any alcohol and pausing your blood-thinning medications (as long as your doctor gives you the green light), because alcohol and some medications can interfere with the healing process. You should also ensure the injection site is clean and clear of any breakouts. Take care to inform the certified nurse doing your injection if you have any allergies or any previous reactions to medications.

Your Botox Treatment Session

During the session, our experienced certified nurses and nurse practitioners will ensure your comfort and safety. You don’t have to worry even if you’re apprehensive about needles — we numb the treatment area beforehand and use delicate, specially-designed Comfortox Syringes. Our trained nurses will make a series of small, quick injections in strategic places for a natural-looking result. We specialize in conservative results & a nurturing process, so you can rest assured that your Botox treatment will not be overdone. The number of sessions and frequency will depend on the results you want to achieve, but we’ll work with you to develop a custom Botox treatment plan that’s right for your needs.

After Your Botox Injections

Each session only takes 10-15 minutes, but you’ll need to wait a week to truly see the results. Immediately after the session, you might experience some swelling or soreness around the injection sites. These symptoms will fade within a day or two, but you can treat them in the meantime with ice packs. The day after a session, you should continue to abstain from alcohol and strenuous physical activity. Aftercare recommendations will also depend on your situation. How Does Botox Work?
